Apples are abundant right now in East Tennessee. Last
week for the family dinner, I made a big pile of apple pie filling and made
each one of the family their own pie. An apple pie in an individual skillet.
Start with one pie crust and gently place in the skillet.
Fill with apple pie filling
Fold up the pie crust.
Brush with egg wash.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
So pretty and I added a scoop of vanilla ice cream for
each pie. The skillets kept the pies warm through dinner and they were perfect.
