Fall
is such a beautiful time of year but it is also very busy in my garden. I am planting
perennials and bulbs, cutting back flowers and cleaning out the garden. Between
school, family and projects, the garden is sadly last on the list. Each bed is
getting tucked in with pine straw for the winter.
With
school in fall break, I am trying to catch up on writing, editing and school
work. I have also purchased Adobe Lightroom and have decided to try to spend 30
minutes a day learning the program but that has been really tough. A student
has offered to make me a cheat sheet to help but Adobe products have a steep
learning curve.
Lastly,
holiday outfits for the grandsons need to be started. I am pouring through the
patterns to find a cute pair of Jon Jons for them. Shorts or long pants?
Corduroy or fabric? All these pressing questions… actually it is a nice break from
all the stress, news and all the events in the world…. Sewing, gardening and
cleaning always has been a wonderful stress release for me.
