Apple Gouda Melt

When the summer sets in full swing, I try to find dinners that are not only light and flavorful but do not require a lot of cooking. This sandwich fits the bill. 


A fresh baguette, topped with thin apple slices and slices of gouda. Melt under a broiler. Make sure to watch it carefully… a wonderful sandwich, add a salad and you have dinner.
