My
holidays never change… my holiday menu never changes and I am completely happy
with that… some people call that tradition. I would call it tradition. So for
the New Year, we have dinner at home with the family. They can go and have fun
after dinner but we have a set menu… and they know to be there!!!
Menu
Grilled Lobster with butter
Baked Potatoes with Sour Cream and Chives
Roasted Brussel Sprouts
Garden Salad
Chocolate Hazelnut Torte
The
only thing that changes is the table setting. I decided to have a silver and
gold theme… with a white starched tablecloth and napkins. I love the change
from all the red and green.
Mercury
trees down the middle of the table… with silver garland.
Silver
and gold bowls for the melted butter
White
plates… start with my daughter’s Christmas Kate Spade china.
Next
a white and silver dinner plate… from Target!! You can mix high end china with
Target dishes.
We
have crackers at New Years Eve… with the paper crowns and jokes. Very funny for
New Years.
A
faux bois mercury cake plate that will hold the torte.
The
wine glasses hold the white starched napkins.
I
hope you and the children like the table. It is very festive!!!
