This week, I will
start transition the house and the garden to fall. Seeding, planting, moving perennials,
new wreaths, etc. Every Season brings new challenges but Fall is my absolute
busiest time of the year.
Fall also brings
all the fall foods we love. Stews, chili, quick breads and pumpkins in
anything. I will be freezing meals all September and October for those hectic
holidays that you know are coming. Many dishes can be doubled easily. A little
extra effort now will pay off in so much later.
In addition, my
daughter gets home from Bahrain this week, the Lord willing. She has had the
flu or a virus and been very sick. We are taking a short shopping trip and
watch my son-in-law race. She needs some special girl time. Please pray for her
safety and those of our military in harm’s way.
