Cheesecake in a Jar

My husband loves cheesecake… and I bake an awesome cheesecake… it is a marriage made in heaven… What can I say?

But during the summer, I don’t really like to bake cheesecake. However, for Father’s Day, the hubby should get what he wants.

With so many things going on this weekend, I decided to make a No-Bake Cheesecake and put them in little Mason jars. The cheese cake is now portable..

Think about it…. For a picnic, how great would this dessert be?

Spoon Oreos with a little melted butter into the bottom of the dish….

Top with approximately ½ cup of the cheesecake…

Sprinkle some Oreo crumbs on top… and refrigerate for several hours. The longer the better. Cover with the lids and ring tops.

How easy was that?

No Bake Cheesecake

1 package cream cheese (8 oz)
1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
2 tablespoons lemon juice (can be modified to taste)
1 tsp clear vanilla extract

Add the softened cream cheese, milk, lemon juice and vanilla extract to a large bowl. Beat with a hand beater for 3 to 4 minutes or until fully combined.
