When we think of Easter, we think of all the pretty
Easter items… bunnies, chicks, Easter eggs and carrots… I found this really
easy and cute recipe for our Easter buffet and thought you would love it.
Unroll a tube of crescent rolls and with a pizza cutter,
cut them into six strips. Brush one side with an egg wash.
On a lightly floured board, roll the brushed crescent
rolls into a 17 inch log.
Next, wrap the rolled crescent strip around a cream horn
mold.
Using orange gel food coloring and mix with a little of
the egg wash
Brush on the unbaked crescent rolls.
It looks so pretty.
Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. After they were
done, I waited 5 minutes to remove the cream horn mold.
Fill with egg salad and top with a sprig of fresh dill.
So cute and so easy... what a great addition to my Easter Brunch. I am baking up a dozen and freezing until Easter morning.
That is so cute...what a fun idea
