One
way to preserve the fresh herb flavors of summer throughout the year is to use
the herbs to make different herb butter. These butters add some wonderful
flavor to eggs, meat, fish, cheese and pasta. Spread some herb butter on
Artesian bread and you will be quickly transported back to the hot days of
summer...
Herb
butters are easy to make. Soften the butter until room temperature.
Mince the herbs or garlic and combine thoroughly in a mixture.

Next
place the butter on wax paper. Create a log, twist the ends. Refrigerate for
two hours to let the butter set and make your log prettier.
