I bought a fire engine cake pan for the baby shower. Given the new momma's sense of humor, I baked one and a half recipes of devil's food cake. Using a star tip, I matched the paperware as carefully as possible.
It turned out cute and everyone loved it, especially the new momma.
Aw, great job on the cake! Red icing is HARD to get right, but you got it! I added your button link to my blog - thank you SO much for trading with me! I'm a follower now and look forward to keeping up with you!
Oh my word, is that adorable!!! And I second twice remembered -- red coloring is so hard to get just right. Cynthia, it looks great! You outdid yourself yet again! :)
I love using the star-tip -- it makes me feel like a "real" cake decorator. Bwhahaaaaaaaa!!!
Hugs from Chicago...surviving the week of wedding extravaganzas! Tomorrow mani's and pedis and big rehearsal!
