So to honor him, I have started a tool of the month. As a woman, I have my own tools and use them constantly. Besides, we need to know how to do things around the home.

So here is a beautiful pink hammer. Mine is not as pretty. The one end is to hammer things into the wall.... you don't have to use a rolling pin, shoe, book, etc. The other end, that looks like a claw, is used to pry lose nails.
With the correct hammer, I built this fireplace mantle.

I built these shelves.

So ladies, go buy a hammer and start your tool box.
I am completely and totally impressed! Really.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I knew I loved you for a reason! Remind me to tell you about my drill "accident" and the $6,000 paper towel holder. It's a good one. But I STILL remain the handy one in our marriage.
ReplyDeleteYou are amazing!
And I want that tulip arrangement on your coffee table. Did you make it?.....
Love the pink hammer! We have to be handy especially if you want to get things done quickly...my husband is very handy...but he has a diffent time line for getting projects done than I do LOL
ReplyDeleteWell you certainly are an Accomplished Woman!! So while you're busy doing these things. . . is your husband cooking and cleaning? That would be cool!!

A few years ago I wondered why there weren't any "pink" or different colored hammers out there just for us girls. Thank goodness now there are. On the shelves you built I noticed that you too have one of those "create" stand-up signs. Why can everyone but me find one? Where did yours come from? Hobby Lobby used to have one. Ballard has one now but it is so expensive I hestitate to get it. Thanks. Nice work on the shelves.
